Award in Hygiene in Health and Social Care

The number of infections associated with Health and social Care is increasing each year. Many of these infections can be prevented by better use of good hygiene practices. The course is designed to help staff recognise the causes of infection and understand the significant risks within their working environments.

  • Legislation

The course is 3 hours duration and assessment is by a multiple choice question paper by the CIEH (Chartered Institute of Environmental Health).
