The course is ideal for new care workers going to work in Health and Social Care and is complimentary to the NVQ/Diplomas. All new care workers need to understand the importance of personal hygiene.
The Course content includes:-
- Hand care/Nail care
- Foot care
- Eye care
- Mouth care (oral hygiene)
- Shaving
- Hand washing
- Hair washing
- Bathing, showering and bed bathing
- Protective clothing
- Pressure sores
- Elimination
- Why cleanliness is important
- How to deal with problems
The course duration is 3 hours
